Privacy policy

This service has no accounts and collects nothing that identifies you. If it were breached, there would be nothing to take. No name, no contact details, no address.

The distance, time and pace you enter are worked out on this page only and are never sent to a server or stored. Copying a result link puts those numbers in the address; where you send that link is up to you.
Your browser's session storage keeps a note of which steps you reached so one visit is not counted twice. It goes away when you close the tab and holds none of your numbers.
The server keeps anonymous counts only: the date, a step name (opened the page, got a result, got a split chart, printed a band, copied a link, clicked a shop link, first tap), the page language, and a rough referral label for where the visit came from. It never records the distance or time you entered.
To cover running costs, Google AdSense ads may appear below results. Google may use cookies or ad identifiers for those ads under Google's own policies. Your numbers still never reach our server.
Product links below the results are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the store pays this site a commission. Your numbers are not in the link.

Retention and deletion

No personal records are kept on the server, so there is nothing to delete. Clearing your browser data also clears the session step note.

This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically inserts a visit-logging script into our pages. We did not add it, so we set the browser to block it. That log never goes out. The tag itself is still inserted upstream, and we think you should know. No cookies are used.
